Algerian human rights activist Donia Massoud has denounced the media blackout practiced by the Government of Myanmar on Rohingya to hide crimes against Muslims in Arakan State.
Massoud said in an interview with the New Youth newspaper: “In Arakan State there are restricted area or area which are prohibited to access by international media and lacks telephone or internet lines, the population is facing hell and I don’t think anyone have ever faced such things in human history.”
Massoud denounced what the Government of Myanmar is doing in cooperation with the extremist Buddhist groups from mass torture of Muslims, to operations, such as murder, displacement and persecution in addition to destruction of their homes and belongings and their mosques.
