Congratulated by the Director General of the Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) Professor Waqar Uddin to the Rohingya people both in Arakan and abroad on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, calling on all to thank Almighty for the completion of grace success of the fasting month of Ramadan, and said: “We all Rohingya should celebrate Eid with joy and pleasure as legitimate guidance to the Musli…ms, and his announcement in spite of all forms of oppression practiced by the Burmese authorities against the Rohingya people in Arakan, and added:” We must pay tribute to the feast days and nights manifestations of joy and happiness in order to boost morale and pay defeatism about souls and do not show weakness to the enemy lurking, “he said.
This came during a speech by Professor Waqar Uddin from his residence in the United States to the Rohingya people on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
