The capital of Cote d’Ivoire, Abidjan, will host next Monday the 44th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which will discuss the issue of the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
The official spokesman of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Ambassador Tariq Ali Bakhit, said that the work of the conference will last two days, and foreign ministers will consider many issues, the most important issues of Muslim groups in non-member countries, especially Myanmar.
The conference will also discuss issues related to combating terrorism, extremism, disarmament, addressing Islamophobia as well as issues related to humanitarian, economic, media, science, technology, information, cultural, social, family, dialogue and communication issues.
