PakistanI off spinner Saeed Ajmal raised 30,000 pound in a charity program to help Rohingya Muslims on Sunday.

According to information, Saeed Ajmal was the chief guest of fund-raising program organised in Manchester, England.

Saeed Ajmal is currently playing domestic cricket for Worcestershire in England.

Thousands of Rohingyas migrated from Myanmar because of sectarian violence and discrimination against them.

More than 1.3 million refugees are trapped in camps, and forced to stay on boats in worst humanitarian situation.

Earlier, National Assembly of Pakistan unanimously passed a resolution condemning the ethnic cleansing of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar by Buddhist monks under the patronage of the regime.

The resolution was tabled by Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanveer Hussain, which states that government of Pakistan should raise voice at International forums against the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Rohingya Muslims.

The resolution also urged the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) and International Human Rights bodies to break their silence over grave violation of human rights which amount to criem against humanity.

The resolution strongly condemned the injustices being done to the Rohingya Muslims, adding that government of Pakistan highly salutes the courage and passion of the Muslim communities in Rohingya.
