Kelantan Pas has condemned the cruel treatment on Rohingya Muslims in the Arakan state of Myanmar and called on those who advocates human rights to assist the community.
Its secretary Datuk Che Abdullah Mat Nawi said human rights groups should help the Rohingya Muslims by preventing such an incident from happening again.
“This is an unfortunate incident and we are also upset that with so many Muslims in the world, we still failed to help these group.
“Therefore, it is hoped that those fights for human rights can be able to save these people,” he said.
Che Abdullah said state Pas’ had performed special prayers recently for the group and would brief members of the matter from time to time.
“We want them to understand the difficulties faced by the Rohingyas.” he said.
