The Council of Palestinian Scholars in Lebanon denounced the ethnic cleansing, the genocide and the heinous massacres against the Muslims in Myanmar in a statement by the speaker of the Council, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Al-Mo’ad, which affected children, women, men and the elderly.
He asked about the role of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League, Islamic countries, the Security Council, the United Nations, human rights organizations, scholars and clerics about the massacres in Myanmar, which he described as a disgrace in this era.
He called on all these parties without exception to move immediately to pressure Buddhists by various means throughout the world, to stop these massacres and protect Muslims, and the dispatch of international forces and Arab and Islamic protection.
