Jemaat-ud-Dawa charity Falah Insanit Foundation (FIF) Chairman Abdul Hafiz has said that FIF has established shelters for Rohingya refugees at the cost of Rs20 million to accommodate over 600 migrants where free food and medicinal assistance was provided to them.

He expressed these views while addressing newsmen here on Saturday. He said that silence of Muslim world on the violation of human rights of Rohingya Muslims is remorseful.
He said that Muslims of Myanmar have been facing genocide for a long time. He said that even the USA has asked the Myanmar government to halt abusage and inhumane treatment to their Muslim citizens. He stated this is shameful for Muslim leaders who are not raising the voice against this cruelty. He demanded of the UN to stop these human rights violations.

He suggested that a joint army of Muslim countries under the umbrella of the United Nations should be sent to Myanmar to save the lives of these innocent people. He criticized Pakistani government for not supporting Rohingya Muslims. He stated that it’s our religious duty to save our Muslim brothers.

He urged the government to take a bold stance on the burning Kashmir issue and brutal killings of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, saying that the prevailing situation warrants Pakistan’s proactive role to help the Muslims in Myanmar and occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
