In recent days, torrential rains have hit eastern Bangladesh, causing floods that have washed away many of the Rohingya refugee huts.
Arakan News Agency reporter said dozens of Rohingya refugee huts in the Kutupalong camps had been drowned by rainwater and families had become homeless in the open, originally made months ago and settled there.
“There were dozens of huts that are no longer visible,”, A Rohingya said.
He further adds “Many people have been displaced.”
The Rohingya Muslim refugees in Bangladesh are suffering from the deteriorating health and environmental situation in refugee camps in eastern Bangladesh on the border with Myanmar, most of whom do not have documentation proving that they are refugees and do not have access to basic services.
