Burmese authorities have recently issued a decision to ban Rohingya fishermen from fishing without giving any reason for this decision and non-Rohingyas are excluded from the ban according to a source, the source added that the decision included a threat to arrest anyone who engages in fishing to rivers and ponds near Rohingya houses.
It is worth mentioning that the Burmese authorities imposed a suffocating economic blockade against the Rohingyas in Arakan to prevent them from carrying out their work to survive and crush them in their livelihoods in order to starve them and push them to leave the country.
