Aid by the Algerian people in the hands of the Rohingya refugees

The convoy of humanitarian aid, which was launched three months ago from the Egyptian port of Port Said to the refugee camps of Rohingya in the city of  Coxs Bazar of Bangladesh, and the delegation of the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars began distributing relief materials inside the camps, in coordination with the Alamma Fadlallah Nadawi Association.

The Algerian convoy consisted of eight containers carrying hundreds of tons of food, mattresses, shoes, medical supplies and four ambulances equipped with all the supplies. They were all addressed to the residents of Gaza, Palestine before being transferred to the Rohingya camps because the Egyptian authorities prevented them from entering the Gaza Strip.

These came after a delegation described the reality of the situation on the border between Myanmar and Bangladesh, during his first visit to the camps last October, where it turned out that the Rohingya fleeing from the hell of massacres in Myanmar.

The arrival of the Algerian convoy to the city of Coxs-Bazar was not easy. The officials of the relief organization, the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars expressed that situation were very difficult to get the convoy out of the port city of Chittagong, Bangladesh and were hit by a series of bureaucratic procedures. 

And the biggest problem faced by the Algerian delegation is the imposition of made up fees which was burden on the convoy amounted to 54 thousand dollars, as the delegation has several contacts with government agencies in Bangladesh to reduce the value of what has already been done, was delayed bringing the convoy so much that the delegation decides extend visas to stay in camps.
