A house belonging to a Rohingya was completely set on fire in the city of Rathidaung last week frequent scene of the burning of Rohingya homes in Arakan state.
Local residents said that the house was left with nothing and that it was burned completely, despite being a large area the spread of fire points out false play which the residents interpreted as burning material poured on the house.
The exact cause of the fire was not yet known, but the locals accused the Buddhists of involvement in the repeated fire incidents in Arakan state.
A number of Rohingya Muslim leaders in Arakan questioned the possibility of staying in their villages after these repeated attacks with the starvation policy of the Myanmar authorities.
