A Jordanian doctor narrated painful details about the rape of a Muslim woman from Rohingya by a group of Buddhists in Myanmar as part of the attacks on the Muslim minority on the border with Bangladesh.
“The strangest case and the worst case he treated was when six Buddhists assaulted a Muslim woman in front of her husband, who was tied, which led to the woman being forced to have a miscarriage later,” said doctor Hisham al-Shaabani in a video posted on Tuesday.
“The husband of the woman has suffered from severe depression, which is still going on,” said Shaabani, who provides therapeutic services to Rohingya on the border with Bangladesh.
