Arakan News Agency
Buddhist Mayor of a neighborhood arrested a Rohingya girl (agency retains the name) and locked her inside a storehouse with bad ventilation for the entire night on charges she got out of the country without official permission from any government agency before being released in exchange for 900 thousand Burmese kyat as an ANA correspondent reported.
The girl had left her home town in Arakan and went to Bangladesh to receive treatment there after she was diagnosed with strange illness and did not find a cure him in her home town and then returned from Bangladesh after only five days, but all that did not help her when the mayor imposed an unfair fine as the correspondent.
It is noteworthy that the Burmese authorities impose restrictions and arbitrary actions on the movements of Rohingya in Arakan; so as to prohibit them even move from one neighborhood to another, whatever the reasons only after notice of the mayor and get official permission from the authorities.
