Reporter of ANA reported that the high ranking officials of the Bangladeshi government held a meeting in the city of Teknaf to study adjacent to the border between Burma and prevent the development of infiltration of Rohingya migrants in Bangladesh by increased border guards.
The correspondent said that officials at the meeting expressed concern about the increasing number of Rohingya Muslims infiltrators in Bangladesh despite the tightening of security and impose strict regulations on those arrested.
Recently the Bangladeshi government announced that it has detained more than 100 Rohingya people after they tried to cross the border from the south-eastern part of the country with the help of a group of human traffickers.
It is noteworthy that the authorities in Bangladesh had announced last January that it is working on a study of the barbed wiring fence along the border with Burma to prevent Rohingyas from entering the country illegally and prevent drug trade.
