Widespread Malaria Outbreak in Arakan During 2025

Several towns in Arakan State, western Myanmar, witnessed a widespread outbreak of malaria in 2025, with over 1,000 cases reported and 30 deaths most of them children due to a lack of medical resources and treatments.
