Myanmar authorities on Tuesday demolished several Rohingya houses in the city of Maungdaw, west of Arakan state.
Arakan news agency received a video of one of the people affected by the demolition, which showed the extent of the destruction caused by the authorities with the property of Muslims.
“Look at these cattle. They are being slaughtered a man took her and slaughtered others here and took her away but they left her internal organs,” the video cameraman said.
Houses that have been demolished are made up of straw, wood and tree branches, the way most homes are built in rural areas and villages.
The video footage showed homeowners trying to rebuild their homes and return belongings which are scattered around.
