Director of United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Madam Sara Bloomfield stressed that Myanmar has become the place where the risk of eruption of genocide or ethnic cleansing may happen in the world.
Bloomfield said this in an interview with the newspaper «Egyptian today», the museum observers visited Myanmar for documenting atrocities against religious minorities, and to make sure they were unequivocally committed by extremist Buddhists, which may consider crimes against humanity which occurred against the minority Muslim population there.
Bloomfield noted that Muslims in the world are threatened today because of the wave of hatred and propaganda aimed at all Muslims in the world, noting that the museum monitoring witnessed growing and alarmingly number of hate speech against Muslims today.
