A few days ago, local residents of Rohingya found two bodies decomposed on the outskirts of Maungdaw town in Arakan province believed to belong to members of the same minority who were attacked by the military a few months ago.
Arakan news agency correspondent said that the local residents said the bodies were in one pit, one of which was partially dislodged and the other totally disrupted and believed to belong to members of the same village where they live.
Local residents said the bodies belonged to Muslims killed on Oct. 14 when the Myanmar army launched a military campaign against Rohingya Muslims and was then buried in a remote area in a random way.
The local residents recovered the bodies and buried them again after performing the rituals, the correspondent said.
