Thousands of Rohingya refugees in Malaysia came out in collaboration with the local community; in order to protest and held demonstrations in front of the UN building after Friday prayers; so to denounce the acts of violence committed against the Rohingya people in Arakan State of Myanmar.
The demonstrators demanded the United Nations intervene to stop what they called this river of blood in Arakan State and to do its part as they are entrusted with the duty to the oppressed minorities in the world.
The Myanmar authorities have step up the pace of violence since three weeks with the arbitrary inspection campaigns against Rohingya homes with pretext of searching for armed groups hiding inside houses, they have committed massacres and crimes varied between arbitrary arrest, torture and rape of women and looting property, and others.
