King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Center announced the completion of relief projects in the camps of the Rohingya Muslims in Bangladesh, which cost a total of more than 11 million US dollars until the end of March.
On Tuesday, the center published a number of pictures of the projects it implemented and detailed amounts for each project.
The Center has implemented several projects in different sectors as follows:
Food security in total amount reached (500,540) USD
Health with a total amount of (2,000,000) USD
Water and environmental reform with a total amount of (2,230,000) USD
Accommodation (two projects) with a total amount of (3,444,987) USD
Early Recovery Total amount reached (1,500,000) USD
Other sectors with a total amount of (1,567,698) USD
The Center explained that the total cost of these projects reached (11,243,225) US dollars, noting that it was implemented in cooperation with two partners.
The Center published a detailed picture of the projects carried out under the water sector, which amounted to 9 projects were as follows:
Drilling 200 water wells
Transportation of water to some areas by truck
Sterilization and water testing
Construction of 225 water houses
200 bathrooms
Create 75 hand-washing stations
Distribution of 22,313 pieces of toiletries
Building of storage rooms
Provide solar light
