The Government of Myanmar has recently set up urgent committees to collect the bodies of Rohingyas and bury them in hidden graves away from the places where they were killed by the army in the east and west of the city of Rathidaung.

Arakan news agency reported that dozens of Rohingya bodies are being disposed  and urgently before international delegations are allowed to visit the affected areas, which witnessed the recent crisis the army has escalated against the Rohingya since Aug. 25, in response to the international pressure faced by Myanmar in this regard, as they are requesting  to enable foreign delegations to enter the areas of genocide committed by carrying out large-scale killings and the displacement of Rohingya people.

A Rohingya witness who fled and survived these events said There are dozens of bodies of Rohingya martyrs remained in same places  of death for nearly two weeks before the government to issued orders to security forces to quickly hide the effects of the crime through the disposal of those bodies to be exhumed in mass graves as a matter of urgency.

Many Rohingya organizations have condemned the measures, which are aimed at blurring the facts from the world’s eyes and hiding the crimes committed by the Myanmar army in an attempt to escape international sanctions and accountability for the atrocities committed by the Myanmar government and army against the Rohingyas.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on Myanmar at a Security Council session last Thursday to protect Rohingyas, return aid to them, return stolen rights and return Rohingya refugees to their homeland in Arakan.
