The formation of INTERNATIONAL ROHINGYA COUNCIL (IRC)

INTERNATIONAL ROHINGYA COUNCIL (IRC) was formed and released it’s statement on its formation. As it mentioned their sole purpose is to serve Rohingya people.

United Nations considers Rohingya minority, the most persecuted minority in the world.

Since, August 25th 2017, Myanmar Army launched it’s genocidal operations against Rohingya minority under the pretext of “Fighting Terrorism” which led to burning of hundreds of Rohingya villages, also influx of 400,000 Rohingya refugees into Bangladesh with horrifying stories of massive human rights violations committed by Myanmar Army including arson attacks, extra judicial killings, sexual violence and unjustifiable detention.

We would like to announce the newly founded- International Rohingya Council (IRC), that solely aim to meet the needs of Rohingya people and resources, to direct the talent and potentialities, to serve the

causes of Rohingya and to work together effectively, corporately and extend more networks across international communities and Rohingya communities both in home and exile and building of welfare
programs.
The formation of IRC has come after years of suggestion from Rohingya individuals, bodies around the world and from home. We, IRC therefore would like to uphold to favour of every Rohingya’s thought,
advice, support in light to bring the best possible service and durable solution for Rohingya people.

Also to abolish the differences among individuals, and develop a spirit of common interest and sacrifice and participate collectively in community affairs.
Under the corporation of IRC, we target our work done thru peaceful manner; entirely focus on the benefit of our people; ensuring safety and security uphold with the corporation of international communities and
government around the world; working together with international communities, stake holders, INGOs, academics, Human Right activists and individuals.

Formation of this organization IRC is:
1) Not to divide between us but for unity, build a stronger, explore more works and connection for working
together effectively.
2) To get the resources and needs, conducting more activities, engaging self-motivation and create a sense
of motivation.
3)Collection of information from the ground and sharing to concern quarters and motivate the people to
take better participation.
4) To highlight various problems affecting the communities and implement programs require for the
fulfilment of people.
5) To bring coordination between the individuals, groups and organization to focus the needs and find the
solution together.
6) To develop the idea of abilities and work the betterment of the communities.

IRC hopes when the work for Rohingya more effective or needs more support, IRC aims to bear own responsibilities of own people. IRC has been therefore founded by Rohingya representatives, activists and
elders around the world.
