The Director General of the Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU), Professor Wakaruddin Masihuddin, hailed the decisions of the 44th session of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) for the Foreign Ministers’ Conference held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire on July 10th 2017.
“The decision on the Rohingya, which includes 31 articles, is the result of a real collective effort on the part of all parties,” Masihuddin said in a leaflet on his Facebook account.
It is noteworthy that the organization had held an extraordinary meeting in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur several months ago to discuss the latest developments and discuss urgent solutions.
