Thai police arrested nearly 500 Rohingya refugees – including 25 women – while waiting in a station for the train after their arrival in Thailand from Bangladesh through nautical compound belonging to the human traffickers as the ANA reporter said, adding that the Thai authorities had separated the men and the women also added that all the detainees are Rohingya Muslims and are detained in government detention shelters.
And the government detention camps in Thailand sheltering hundreds of Rohingya – including women and children from Arakan fleeing sectarian violence carried out by Buddhists against them, and do not allow them to leave their detention centers held by Thai authorities for any reason.

It is noteworthy that the Thai government has failed in previous times in their attempts to communicate with the government of Burma on Rohingya refugees and return them to their country.
