Strained relations between the government and Buddhist extremists in Myanmar

The extremist Buddhist monk in Myanmar criticized, his country’s foreign minister and advisor to the president, Aung San Suu Kyi, has been accused of trying to destroy the Buddhist nationalist organization in the country.

The attack came after the party that represents the monks in Myanmar itself distanced from the organization, “Ma Ba Tha”, after the organization called on to organize public demonstrations in the country for criticizing the organization by a government official.

“Ma Ba Tha” is an extremist anti-Muslim organization which is responsible for the escalation of sectarian violence across the country and the most prominent monk of the extremist organization is Ashin Wirathu who has been called “the Buddhist Bin laden”.

It should be noted that the chief minister of Yangon Mr. Phyo Min Thein said during a meeting in Singapore that the organization “Ma Ba Tha” is no longer necessary “in Myanmar, as the country already has a certain religious council by the government, which has threaten the hard-line Buddhist organization in Myanmar known as “Ma Ba tha” that event has ignited protests across the country, against the chief minister of Yangon because of his criticism of the organization.
