South Africa: Hundreds protest against massacres against Rohingya

Hundreds of people marched in South Africa last week in support of the Palestinian cause and condemned the massacres of Rohingya Muslims in Arakan province by the Myanmar army and Buddhist militias, the Anadolu correspondent said.
According to the reporter, about 700 people marched in Johannesburg (northeast) to support Palestine and the Rohingya Muslims.
South African activist Ram Salog, one of the march’s participants, said in an interview with Anadolu that he condemned the Myanmar army’s practices against the Rohingya Muslims.
Since August 25th, the Myanmar army has committed genocide against the Rohingya Muslims in the southern province of Arakan, killing and injuring thousands of civilians, according to Rohingya activists.
