The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, will be on a working tour in Bangladesh from August 2, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
It will be Al-Othaimeen’s first visit to Bangladesh since he took over as secretary-general in November last year and is expected to visit the Rohingya refugee camps at Cox’s Bazaar on Friday.
The ministry said the visit would give al-Uthaymeen an opportunity to learn about Bangladesh, which will host the 45-member council of foreign ministers next year.
