King Salman has personally ordered the meeting of the Rohingya Muslims who fled to Bangladesh to escape the killings and torture practiced by the Myanmar forces, the advisor to the Saudi Royal Court and the General Supervisor of the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Relief, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah said.
This came in a statement to Al Arabiya during a meeting with a group of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh during a visit with a delegation from the King Salman Center last week.
“King Salman directed me to come and meet you and we hope that your tears will become a smile,” Rabia said.
“The Rohingyas are our brothers, sisters and children.”
For their part, the Rohingyas interviewed by Rabiah, a group of women, expressed their joy and happiness with the visit and the assistance provided to them. “We thank you for coming here and standing by our side, despite our suffering, we now feel happy because you helped us and relieved us of sorrow.”
