Eight Rohingya people were brutally attacked by security forces in the city of Rathidaung, which is witnessing an upsurge in attacks on Muslims.
The attack resulted in severe and critical injuries, according to local residents. Arakan news agency reported that about 15 vehicles of the security forces arrived in the city and the camp that housed the Rohingya refugees after Maghrib prayer and attacked 8 Rohingyas, some of whom are feared to die due to their critical condition.
Arakan news agency obtained videos of two of the victims, one showing a severe swelling of the face and swelling in other areas. One commentator in the video said that there were traces of beating and assault in sensitive places that could not be displayed.
