Two Rohingya villagers were killed by members of the police in the village of Keladong Myanmar on Sunday evening after a random shooting operation.
A source told the Arakan News Agency ANA that the members of the police were wandering in the village, as they opened fire at civilians without apparent reason which resulted in two civilians dead.
Rohingya activist Ahmed Abul Khair expressed concern about the deliberate killing of civilians, without any charges on them, especially in light of the lack of any opportunity to receive justice or logical investigation, calling the International Civil international organizations and systems to take a critical attitude toward what is happening.
He added: “The international community is dealing the Rohingya issue with double standards as they are not consistent, as they are turning blind eye to the atrocities committed by the Myanmar authorities.”
