Renewed violence in Arakan killed 9 innocent Muslims

On Monday morning violence occurred in the city Maungdaw of Arakan state in Myanmar that killed a number of Muslim victims from Rohingya minority.

A reporter of Arakan news agency reported that army troops with Buddhist extremists walked around the city looking for rebels which attacked military posts on Sunday Morning in the process they opened fire at a number of Innocent Rohingya Muslims, killing nine of them.

The authorities had imposed curfew in neighborhoods from seven in the evening until six in the morning.

And the reporter added that the bodies of Muslims were lying on the ground due to the government troops preventing anyone from recovering the bodies.

It should be noted that the Myanmar army troops were killed on Sunday, and now as a retaliation innocent Muslims lives are on jeopardy.
