Rohingya activists mobilizes support for the Rohingya issue in the United States

Rohingya activist Mr. Tun Khin, head of the  Burmese Rohingya organization in the United Kingdom, met with a number of officials and influential figures in the United States to rally support for the Rohingya issue.
Khin said in an interview that he traveled to the United States this week to meet with senior figures and officials of the United Nations and to talk to them about the Rohingya issue.
Khin pointed out that the visit was aimed at renewing bilateral relations in the service of this issue and the formation of new relations, especially after the change of the US administration under President Donald Trump.
During his stay in the United States, Khin said he participated in events at Harvard University and talked about the dire humanitarian situation of the Rohingya Muslims in Arakan State of Myanmar and in the refugee camps in Bangladesh.
Khin was pleased with the support and support of the officials he met, who assured him of their full support for this issue and the support of the United Nations Committee, which was rejected by the Government of Myanmar.
