The head of the Arakan news agency and director of the Rohingya Media Center, Mr. Salah Abdul Shakour thanked President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi for his recognition of the genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Muslims Rohingya in the province of Arakan in the state of Myanmar and his condemnation of the massacres that have escalated recently in the region.
He also thanked the Egyptian media for supporting the cause of his country. He also thanked the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb for his support for the Rohingya issue, sending an official mission to the troubled region and delivering aid to the Muslim minority.
And to followed the path of Al-Azhar and support them humanely and try to send their voice to the world.
Al-Sisi spoke about the suffering of the Rohingya Muslims and called on world leaders and the international community to take responsibility for finding a lasting solution to end the suffering of Muslim civilians and solve the crisis that threatens the future of the region.
Based on the religious and human responsibility, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif led humanitarian movements at the Arab, Islamic and international levels to stop these massacres against Rohingya people, according to the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar.
It is noteworthy that the Muslim minority “Rohingya” lived for hundreds of years in Myanmar (formerly Burma) is currently under the persecution of “Buddhists” in an attempt to prevent the spread of Islam in the country and the exploitation of wealth and prevent them from the most basic rights of a human being, and in recent years with increased cases of abuse, torture in all its forms, also murder and rape against the minority that has inhabited the country for more than 1,000 years.
