Six Rohingyas were tortured on charges of attempted attack on the security forces

Myanmar authorities embarked in the “Boli Bazaar” neighborhood in Maungdaw in order to torture at least six of the Rohingya Muslims after being arrested during the last two days against them, they were charged with the attempted attack on the police officers.
One of the residents from the neighborhood said in an audio recording to the ANA that the government troops arrested his father, uncle and two of his brothers and one of his relatives as well as a teacher from the neighborhood on charges of attempted assault on a police post present in the neighborhood after security measures tightened on the city of Maungdaw after attacks on a police headquarters last week.
The correspondent denied the existence of any of the detainees trying to attack the police, as authorities claimed, the local resident said that his father did not even had any intentions against the security forces and that his brothers was also not present in conflict zones.
A witness from Maungdaw city in Arakan State of Myanmar says security environment is volatile after attacks by gunmen on a police posts and killed a number of them and the government got a reason to massacre to innocent Rohingya civilians.
