Three Rohingya Muslims were drowned and four others lost after their boat capsized on a local river in Arakan province.
Rohingya activists said the boat sank because of a high wave on the boat that was carrying seven Rohingyas from the village of Netchong in the town of Pauktaw and passing through to their village.
Among the victims was a high school student from the village of Netchong and was studying at the Pauktaw High School.
