ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has finally spoke up on the situation of Rohingya Muslims in Burma and called upon the international organizations to take notice on Plight of Rohingya Muslims.…
In a statement issued today, he said that the silence of United Nations, Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other world bodies over the massacre of Muslim in Burma has raised many questions.
Federal Minister said that PM Nawaz Sharif and other federal ministers have expressed their concerned over this issue during the cabinet meeting. He also said that the Prime Minister has formed a special committee to provide relief to Rohingya Muslims.
A meeting of the special committee to send relief goods to Burma will be held in Islamabad tomorrow.
The meeting will be attended by its members including Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan, Advisor to PM on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant to PM on Foreign Affairs, Tariq Fatemi.
