A Rohingya man in Myanmar on Saturday, uttered his last breath from his wounds after he was shot by government forces after they launched an attack on civilians in a move they said “searching” for the gunmen who attacked their headquarters several days ago.
A reporter of Arakan News Agency said that at least four Rohingya civilians came under fire in last two days by the Myanmar army troops in the city of Maungdaw, he added that one of the Rohingya victims passed away after he suffered from his wounds of two bullets pierced in his body, while others are still in critical condition.
The correspondent said that the man was suffering from the impact of the bullet that pierced lower back of his body and the villagers wasn’t able to extract the bullet from his body in light of the deteriorating security situation and the curfew also the closure of hospitals in the face of Muslims, which pushed his condition to worst.
The media reported that the death toll of Rohingyas in these events has risen to dangerous levels and threatens to intensify the risk of genocide if this continues this way the number of martyrs has reached more than 90 people, at least according to local sources.
