It is a plans which has support of political parties and approval of Buddhist monks to bring more Buddhists from Bangladesh to resettle on Rohingya lands in Arakan State of Myanmar.
Agency correspondent reported that the political parties in Arakan State held joint meetings in the presence of a large number of Buddhist monks to develop a plan to bring the Buddhists from Bangladesh, he said, that the plan includes bringing in about three thousand Buddhist every year starting from 2017; in order to resettle on the forcibly extracted land from the hands of Rohingyas or building new homes for them in Rohingya neighborhoods.
Local observers and political parties supported the plans to bring fundamental changes in the demographic composition of the state of Arakan and reduce Rohingya in existence.
It is worth mentioning that the Myanmar authorities in Arakan have executed many projects for the settlement of hundreds of Buddhists recruited from Bangladesh, according to local sources.
