Myanmar imposes strict controls on international calls

Myanmar authorities have stepped up the censorship imposed on mobile phones used by Rohingya in Arakan state the agency correspondent said, adding that authorities have formed special committees devote themselves to the task of doing eavesdropping on all international calls by Rohingyas every moment; with anticipation of leaking news of violence and persecution against them to media and outside Myanmar, the ANA correspondent reported.

Rohingya activist Mr. Mohammad Ayoub Saidi said Despite the serious risks faced by Rohingya reporters from the Myanmar authorities, which often led to torture and martyrdom in government prisons but Rohingya correspondents beat the finest examples in the resistance to tyranny Buddhist and have proven their ability to break the information blockade whatever was holding them, He added: there are dozens of Rohingya reporters who were hunted down and physically killed in government jails by the authorities on suspicion of communicating with external and international medias.
