Agency correspondent reported that the individual’s responsible Aid relief and support recently visited Arakan State in order to inspect the conditions of those affected by the floods last two weeks ago.
The correspondent added that General Miao Laing made several rounds in each of the city Mambra, Choctaw and Akyab, and promised to the people affected during a meeting about supporting them and providing them with help, explaining that General instructed his aides in advance not to allow any Rohingya in the presence of his meetings with the affected people; and it is commented upon local observers say that “racial discrimination is immoral and acted by a high-ranking government official.”
It is noteworthy that many of the Rohingya in Myanmar have been affected along with Buddhists in floods swept Arakan State two weeks ago, and uprooted dozens of homes of Rohingya, leaving behind dozens of families in the open without shelter.
