Myanmar forces demolish Muslim buildings and confiscate their property

A group of Myanmar troops raided a village inhabited by Muslims Rohingyas in Rathidaung city, razed a number of shops and residential buildings and confiscated goods and private property, Arakan News Agency correspondent reported.
The correspondent said that the group was divided into three small groups and spread in the village and began to raid homes and shops and  confiscating  goods and tampering with property.
The correspondent added that the villagers fled out of the village out of fear of harm and to save their lives.
“They confiscated goods from our shop, worth more than 100,000 Myanmar kyats ,” one of the victims told Arakan news agency.
It is noteworthy that the city of Rathidaung have been witnessing a campaign against the Rohingya Muslims and events indicate the possibility of a new genocidal operations against Muslims.
