At least 10 Rohingya civilians have been arbitrarily detained by Myanmar authorities for links with rebels fighting the Myanmar army south of Maungdaw city in Arakan state, Rohingya sources said.
The sources said that the regime forces raided the village of Nurulla in the south of the city of Maungdaw on Saturday and arrested at least 25 people, and released 15 of them later.

Rohingya activists said the accusations by the authorities against Rohingya civilians were incorrect and used by the government to kill and arrest innocents, noting that all those arrested were not charged with clear evidence or were to allowed to hire lawyers to defend them.
