Arakan news agency reported that a Rohingya child was killed by security forces in Arakan state after his arrest several days ago and then handed his dead body over to his parents without explaining the reasons for the arrest and death.
The reporter said that his arrest was under suspicion in a criminal case, that has nothing to do with him and then surprised his family with his lifeless body.
The reporter added that the child was only 12 years old and was one who has memorized the entire Holy Quran in his family, those remained in Arakan despite difficult situation after the majority of the Rohingya families fled the village of Nurula in the city of Maungdaw.
Human Rights Watch said Tuesday that the Myanmar army raided and killed several hundred minority Muslim Rohingya Muslims in a village in Arakan province on August 30th.
