Agency correspondent reported that an extremist Buddhist groups recently has been holding public meetings dominated by a racial nature; with the aim to state of anti Rohingya presence in Arakan State.
The correspondent added that one of these meetings was attended by more than 300 Buddhist people, adding that the discussions during the meeting focused on the development of new methods and legal methods to rob the Rohingya land and property, as well as to prevent them from engaging in any acts or activities for their livelihood.
Local observers in these meetings said the discussion in the meeting were violation of the democratic orientation of the country – is taking place in full view of local authorities, who merely monitor the situation without taking any action about it.
