The Director General of Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU), Dr. Wakaruddin Masihuddin, met with Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and a number of ministers and discussed with them the latest developments in the Rohingya issue and ways of resolving it.
This came at a gala dinner in honor of Yildirim at the Center for Turkish Religious Center in Washington, DC, on Thursday.
Yildirim spoke impressively about the Rohingya issue and was enthusiastic during his speech at the reception, Masihuddin said.
The dinner was attended by Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Energy and Natural Resource Minister Berat Albayrak, Turkish Ambassador to the United States Serdar Kılıç and several other dignitaries attended the dinner reception.
