Buddhist authorities in Myanmar imposed a tight siege on the villages of Rathidaung, in province of Arakan.

The Arakan observatory expressed in a tweet that “The villages of Ongnera and Mujadia eastern of Rathidaung are under siege by the Buddhists and the Myanmar authorities, villagers are hungry for more than two weeks now.”

The observatory said that the people of the two villages are directly appealing to all Muslims for the relief of the siege.
