Life Guide Academy High School held an awards ceremony on Friday at Camp 14 in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, for Rohingya refugees, recognizing the efforts and achievements of its students in an atmosphere of pride and joy. The event reflected the spirit of education and motivation for all.

The ceremony honored outstanding students who achieved remarkable results through dedication, discipline, and strong guidance from their teachers. All students were encouraged to continue striving for excellence, with the school expressing confidence in their ability to achieve even better results in the future.
Teachers were also recognized for their continuous efforts and commitment, which form the foundation of every learner’s success, highlighting the true spirit of education—unity, motivation, and progress.
This educational event took place in the context of the Cox’s Bazar region, underscoring the importance of education and community support, even under the difficult circumstances faced by many children and youth there.
Bangladesh hosts over one million Rohingya refugees in the Cox’s Bazar camps, which the United Nations classifies as the largest refugee settlement in the world. The refugees have been living in harsh humanitarian conditions since fleeing Myanmar in 2017, following the “genocide” campaign launched by the Myanmar military against them. Waves of displacement continued as conflict erupted in Arakan State between the Myanmar army and the Buddhist Arakan militias (Arakan Army) in November 2023, prompting more Rohingya to flee to Bangladesh.
