Police have several inspection tours to the neighboring villages of city Buthidaung, and houses were searches and forced to remove the barriers of houses made of bamboo straws and sticks, also they banned the Muslims to close door of homes day or night under the pretext of making sure they don’t harbor so called jihadists or terrorists.
The local police stations in several villages call preachers and teachers of Islamic madrassas also Imams of mosques and interrogated about their number of the adult population in the villages, and took their acknowledgment of not hosting any person in their homes from outside the village.
According to the Arakan News Agency reporters that a number of people, especially young people have been subjected to humiliation and beatings during inspection tours, according to locals.
On the other hand, The Rohingya families who fled into the woods and prairies in search of safety after their homes were burned last week; their fate is unknown as they will suffer in the absence of food, shelter and medicine.
