The Myanmar government has forced the Rohingya community to receive what it calls “food aid under the pressure of the threat and photographing it” to try to improve its image in the face of accusations of racial discrimination, ethnic cleansing and genocide against the Rohingya minority in Arakan state. .
One of the Rohingyas said: “We were surprised by the army breaking into our homes and forcing us out of the house. They took us to a nearby camp to force us to take small bags of non-edible food, including dried fish, some onions and a small bottle of cooking oil. “They were filming us during the handover, and they ordered us to show joy on our faces and prevent us from picking up.
“No matter how the Myanmar government tries to hide its major crimes against the Rohingya in its twisted and deceptive ways, and whatever it tries to appear sympathetic to, it is difficult for them to evade its moral responsibility and to deny the world for its growing international accusations of atrocities and human rights abuses against us,” said the Rohingya.

“Despite all the miserable attempts by government to improve its image and polish the army’s position on Rohingya in front of the world, the catastrophic effects of the recent escalation against Rohingya can not be easily denied while international pressure is being maintained to provide transparency during the investigations carried out by international delegations.
