The Omani Charitable Organization has informed the Bangladesh Red Crescent Committee about the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman to provide relief assistance to the Rohingya refugees, including the project of the Omani refugee camp “Rohingya” which will be held in the city of Cox-Bazar in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
The visiting delegation to Bangladesh was led by Ali bin Ibrahim, who visited the headquarters of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Committee and met with Fayrouz Salahuddin, chairman of the committee.
During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing cooperation between the Omani Commission and the Bangladesh Committee in the field of charitable work.
